Michael Smith

Michael is Resident Advisor at the Care Home. He serves as a youth worker with several different organizations locally and has over ten years of experience working with teens. He has been a volunteer youth pastor for four years and currently works as a volunteer chaplain and late-night youth staff at the Tom Taylor YMCA.

He is a substitute teacher, has experience as a big brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters and has volunteered with people experiencing homelessness in many capacities over the years. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Youth Work from Oral Roberts University. While at ORU, Michael was a chaplain, resident advisor and student outreach coordinator and has worked with students internationally.
